I've been in many films and stage productions, from starring roles to glorified extra, on shoestring budgets to major studio productions. Community theatre and respected companies. Toiled in the heat and bitter cold. Worked through the night in a desolate place. Rehearsed for countless hours, studied scripts, researched roles, been crushed by an endless string of audition rejections.
But I've loved every bit of it. The cast and crew on the set are some of the most interesting people, joined together by a love of the work, and there is a distinct similarity in the crafting of games and film. A group of motivated people with varying talents, coming together to fabricate a new reality from nothing but imagination and effort.
